SPRING 2018 INTERNSHIP
Projects at Harbinger aren’t just time consuming, they involve a level of detail that makes our organizational and logistical efforts superior to the competitors in our industry. Even the smallest of projects can be comprised of hundreds of tasks. With all there is to accomplish in any given project - from filing paperwork to coordinating schedules - making sure the project is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible is no easy job.
Team Harbinger is looking for interns who are interested in learning the ins and outs of event operations, communications, logistics, and creative advertising. Interns will assist both our creative event management and productions teams, gaining hands-on experience with event planning from start to finish. If selected, interns will be introduced to advertising strategy, planning, event production, client relations, and operations and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.The ideal applicant has an interest in event management, logistics, and operations and/or creative production and management.
Event Intern Responsibilities
We’re looking for self-starting individuals with the ability to multitask in a fast paced and exciting environment. Some of the responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
-Assist in various stages of event planning
-Vendor research and pricing
-Contact and vendor list organization
-Assisting in client relationship management
-Assisting in general office administration duties
-Social media management
-On site event planning duties
The internship is designed for individuals who are interested in creative marketing strategy through a variety of mediums. Interested applicants must be confident, decisive, fast-paced, intuitive, professional, organized, detail-oriented, and should possess strong communication and problem solving skills.
Only individuals proficient in Google Suite should apply. Preferred skills include: email marketing (MailChimp), CRM management (Prosperworks), social media management (Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram), website management (Squarespace), and Project Management (Trello).
Individuals working towards or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or related fields will be given first consideration.

This is a paid position; compensation will be determined following discussion of qualifications.
